In 2008 the Cape Cobras theme song 'Cobras' was a result of the competition 'Nashua Cape Cobras: Lyrics with Venom', which was won by Al Paton and Lesley Paton, whose lyrics were set to music by producer Gabi Le Roux, with executive producer Clive Ridgeway.
