Canyon Independent School District

Canyon Independent School District is a school district based in Canyon, Texas, U.S.A.. Founded in 1895, it covers 817 square miles (2,120 km2) and also serves the portion of nearby Amarillo located in Randall County. The Canyon ISD surpassed 8,000 students for the first time in 2005.

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.
