Famous quotes containing the word questions:
“The grand Perhaps! We look on helplessly,
There the old misgivings, crooked questions are.”
—Robert Browning (18121889)

From V-J Day 1945 to this has been, my fellow countrymen, a perfect nightmare.”
—Gore Vidal (b. 1925)
“In fact, now I come to think of it, do we decide questions, at all? We decide answers, no doubt: but surely the questions decide us? It is the dog, you know, that wags the tailnot the tail that wags the dog.”
—Lewis Carroll [Charles Lutwidge Dodgson] (18321898)
