2007 Season Results
The 2007 Grand Final weekend being held at Northwood Park on Saturday 27 October, first saw the Ashburton Eagles take on, and beat, the Christchurch Bulldogs, catapulting them to their best final showing of 3rd place since they joined the competition 4 years prior. The winner of the cup on the day was the Eastern Blues outfit, after a gruelling encounter with the University Cougars which saw them win by only 4 points.
