Canterbury-Bankstown - Transport

Transport

Canterbury, Liverpool and Punchbowl Roads are the main roads through the area. Public transport in the region includes trains and buses. CityRail's Bankstown railway line runs in a loop from Central station via Campsie to Bankstown and back again via Strathfield. CityRail's East Hills railway line runs from Central and has services that terminate at Revesby, however some continue onto the Macarthur regions Macarthur and Campbelltown stations. The East Hills line also has services to Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport. There are various bus routes provided largely by the privately owned companies Punchbowl Bus Company and Veolia.

Famous quotes containing the word transport:

One may disavow and disclaim vices that surprise us, and whereto our passions transport us; but those which by long habits are rooted in a strong and ... powerful will are not subject to contradiction. Repentance is but a denying of our will, and an opposition of our fantasies.
    Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)
