Can't Speak French - Live Performances

Live Performances

"Can't Speak French" was performed live for the first time on The Friday Night Project Christmas special on 21 December 2007, which was co-hosted by Girls Aloud. During promotion for the single, Girls Aloud appeared on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, BBC Switch's Sound, The Paul O'Grady Show, and T4. The song was performed at a number of live concerts such as a set at London gay nightclub G-A-Y, 96.4FM BRMB's Live at the Local, and the 2008 V Festival.

The song was showcased on 2008's Tangled Up Tour, featured in a cabaret-inspired section alongside "Biology" and "Love Machine" while black-and-white video footage of Paris at night was shown on the video screens. For 2009's Out of Control Tour, the song was only included as part of a greatest hits medley.

Famous quotes containing the words live and/or performances:

1st Murderer. Where’s thy conscience now?...
2nd Murderer. I’ll not meddle with it. It makes a man a coward.... It fills a man full of obstacles. It made me once restore a purse of gold that by chance I found. It beggars any man that keeps it. It is turned out of towns and cities for a dangerous thing, and every man that means to live well endeavors to trust to himself and live without it.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

This play holds the season’s record [for early closing], thus far, with a run of four evening performances and one matinee. By an odd coincidence it ran just five performances too many.
    Dorothy Parker (1893–1967)
