The Queen of Canada, represented by the Governor General of Canada is the Commander-in-Chief of the Canadian Forces and in that capacity may wear the appropriate Canadian Forces uniform. The sleeve braid is embellished with the Royal Crest of Canada and this same embroidered crest is worn on the shoulder straps.
