Bors Hede Inne
The Bors Hede Inne is a dinner theater restaurant, open year round by reservation. The food is prepared from recipes found in historical medieval cookbooks, and served by interpreters who remain in character as they discuss their village or sing 'current' songs.
This is nothing like most "medieval restaurants" which have wenches dressed in ren-faire bodices and sandals tossing down platters of new world food like corn and turkey legs, which they expect you to eat entirely with your hands. The Bors Hede is patterned after an authentic late medieval inn, which would expect to serve the well-to-do. Borde knives and spoons are provided, and genteel lavering (handwashing) is required.
