A Classical Education
Classical Education is at the forefront of Caldwell Academies desires for its students. This education is based in the biblical concept of the Trivium. Included is Grammar School (Elementary), Dialectic School (Middle School) and the Rhetoric School, more commonly known as high-school. Each division has a different focus of study and instruction with Grammar as the basis for the more sophisticated teaching to come in later years.

Famous quotes containing the words classical and/or education:
“Culture is a sham if it is only a sort of Gothic front put on an iron buildinglike Tower Bridgeor a classical front put on a steel framelike the Daily Telegraph building in Fleet Street. Culture, if it is to be a real thing and a holy thing, must be the product of what we actually do for a livingnot something added, like sugar on a pill.”
—Eric Gill (18821940)
“I note what you say of the late disturbances in your College. These dissensions are a great affliction on the American schools, and a principal impediment to education in this country.”
—Thomas Jefferson (17431826)
