In the Challenge Cup he scored a try and kicked 5 goals against London Skolars. Southernwood also scored in the Northern Rail Cup against London Skolars. Cain kicked 3 goals against Hunslet Hawks. He scored 2 tries and kicked 3 goals against Sheffield Eagles and also kicked 3 goals against Leigh Centurions.
