The Cabinet of Sri Lanka is the council of ministers that form the central government of Sri Lanka. It is responsible to and answerable to Parliament.
As of January 2013 the Cabinet had 66 members - President, Prime Minister, 10 Senior Ministers and 54 Ministers. There are also 2 Project Ministers and 29 Deputy Ministers (excludes one Deputy Minister who is also a Senior Minister). Former cabinet, also known as the "Jumbo Cabinet," holding a world record for the largest cabinet, was dissolved in February 2010, and a new cabinet appointed on 23 April 2010.
