C About Me

C About Me

Marcos Hernandez was born in Phoenix, Arizona and was raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He grew up singing in church and turned to popular music when KISS FM's Kid Kraddick came up with the idea for KISS FM to start a boy band out of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Hernandez was chosen to be in the band, "Sons of Harmony". The group had some local and regional success, but without major label support, the group only lasted two years.

Hernandez got the attention of Tommy Quon, manager of Vanilla Ice, and they started working on recording a CD. Los Angeles based Richie Blaze, producer for Diane Warren, produced several songs with Hernandez writing most of the lyrics. Dallas based Jerome Harmon, producer for Kirk Franklin, also produced several songs. Magic of the NB Riderz, Russ Lee, and Ponti produced tracks on this CD as well. There are collaborations with Magic/NB Riderz, Gemini, Mandy Baby and Stony Deville. The CD is called "C About Me" and contains 16 songs. The first single released was "If You Were Mine".
