Burlo Garofolo Pediatric Institute - History

History

The Burlo Garofalo was established in 1856 to ensure medical care to poor children. In 1968 the Institute was designated by the Ministry of Health as IRCCS. Since the late '70, the Institute has promoted at both national and international level innovative policies.
