History
The club won the German League championship for the first time in its history in 2005, and became the first German club to qualify for the Euroleague Top 16. The team lost in the first play-off round of the 2007-08 BBL season against EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Bamberg could not rise up to the occasion and did not manage to defend their title of 2006-07.
They won the German Cup and the German Championship of the German basketball league (BBL) in the seasons of 2009-10, 2010–11, and 2011-12.
