Brock Independent School District

Brock Independent School District is a public school district based in the community of Brock, Texas (USA).

Brock is one of the few districts in Texas that does not participate in high school football (a rarity in a state where high-school football holds near-religious status in many communities). However, its basketball programs (boy's and girl's) have been perennial state powers, including an unusual "double-double" in 2001-2002 and 2002-2003, when both the boy's and girl's teams won consecutive titles. The feat was even more unusual in that, in February 2002, Brock was realigned upward in classification from Class A to Class AA (for the 2002-2003 season), yet playing against larger Class AA schools Brock still managed to have both teams repeat as state champions. Brock has won nine titles overall, boys in 2002 and 2003, and girls in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2010,2011, and 2012. During the 2011-12 school year Brock played footbal at the Junior high level. Starting in school year 2012-13 they will play JV football and Junior High football.

In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.
