Early Life
Chase was born into a Jewish family and grew up on Long Island, New York, as well as attending Friends Academy in Locust Valley, and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He is now living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He has synaesthesia, which means he sees colors in response to music he plays or hears.
