Background
Ernst was born in New Jersey of German and Italian descent. He has 2 brothers. His oldest brother, Scott Ernst, was an established theatre actor who died at the age of 33. His youngest brother, Keith Ernst, is a stand up comedian as well. He went to Middle School at Lincoln #4 School in Passaic, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Plantation High in Plantation, Florida. Ernst also played college football and is a graduate of Long Island University.
