Several of these games are very popular, but Yeager’s Air Combat in particular is respected as an exceptional flight simulation game with very realistic reactions to the controls. It has won awards for its high quality. This level of quality is considered to be a direct result of the fact that it was not only sponsored by Chuck Yeager, but he actually served as an advisor during development of the game.

In addition to games, Iverson has developed graphics programs, such as the IBM and Apple IIgs versions of Deluxe Paint.

Famous quotes containing the word programming:

If there is a price to pay for the privilege of spending the early years of child rearing in the driver’s seat, it is our reluctance, our inability, to tolerate being demoted to the backseat. Spurred by our success in programming our children during the preschool years, we may find it difficult to forgo in later states the level of control that once afforded us so much satisfaction.
