Break The Rules

Break the Rules is Namie Amuro's fifth original studio album. It is her second album of 2000, coming only 11 months after her previous album Genius 2000, and is her final album to date with producer Tetsuya Komuro. Due to the small space in time between the release of this album and her last album, only two singles precede it.

Famous quotes containing the words break the, break and/or rules:

    Many people now believe that if fathers are more involved in raising children than they were, children and sons in particular will learn that men can be warm and supportive of others as well as be high achievers. Thus, fathers’ involvement may be beneficial not because it will help support traditional male roles, but because it will help break them down.
    Joseph H. Pleck (20th century)

    Speak, nameless, power and might;
    when will you leave me quite?
    when will you break my wings
    or leave them utterly free
    to scale heaven endlessly?
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)

    Although none of the rules for becoming more alive is valid, it is healthy to keep on formulating them.
    Susan Sontag (b. 1933)
