Brawl appears in the live-action film who does not appear in any of the trailers (except for a very brief shot of his tank mode) and the most heavily armed Transformer seen in this continuity. Overall, his appearance (especially that of his head) greatly resembles Tankor, the Vehicon Tank Drone commander from Beast Machines.
According to Picture Vehicle Coordinator Steve Mann, the filming prop of Brawl was a redress of tank prop made for another film . Specifically, it was the M1 Abrams 'stealth tank' seen in the film xXx: State of the Union.
He has two tank turrets on his back (evoking his G1 persona), 4 missile launchers on each shoulder, two Ripper Blades and a Gatling gun on his left arm, and a long tank turret coming to his right arm. He wasn't able to scan the just fit object for him on Earth-he was a bit large. Thus, when he scanned a mine clearing blade (MCB)-fitted M1 Abrams, he ended up in a form different from the scanned object.
