Brant (electoral District)
Brant is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1904 to 1949 and since 1968.
The federal riding was created in 1903. It consisted of Brant County excluding Brantford.
The federal riding was reconstituted in 1966. Although its boundaries have been altered, it has always comprised the bulk of Brant County (now governed by two single-tier municipalities, the City of Brantford and the City of County of Brant) and often the Six Nations Indian Reserve No. 40.
