Clasp’d by the golden light of morn,”
—Thomas Hood (1799–1845)
“We’ll set thee to school to an ant, to teach thee there’s no laboring i’ the winter.”

““Never hug and kiss your children! Mother love may make your children’s infancy unhappy and prevent them from pursuing a career or getting married!” That’s total hogwash, of course.
