Boys Love (film)

Boys Love (film)

Boys Love (ボーイズ ラブ, Bōizu Rabu?) refers to two Japanese films both directed by Kōtarō Terauchi and both starring Yoshikazu Kotani. The films are inspired by women's boys' love manga and anime. The story has also been adapted into a manga by shōjo manga artist, Kaim Tachibana. The manga is also entitled Boys Love

The first film, titled simply Boys Love, was released directly to DVD on November 24, 2006. Due to the commercial success of the first movie, Terauchi was invited to direct a new version of his film to be released on theatres in 2007 as Boys Love theatrical edition (also known as Boys Love, the Movie).

Famous quotes containing the words boys and/or love:

To be deeply committed to negotiations, to be opposed to a particular war or military action, is not only considered unpatriotic, it also casts serious doubt on one’s manhood.
Myriam Miedzian, U.S. author. Boys Will Be Boys, ch. 2 (1991)

Love not me for comely grace,
For my pleasing eye or face,
    Nor for any outward part:
No, nor for a constant heart!
