Competitions
There is a World Indoor Bowls Championships and also World Bowls Events.
Bowls is one of the "core sports" that must be included at each edition of the Commonwealth Games. The most recent Games were held in Delhi, India in 2010, with Natalie Melmore (England) and Robert Weale (Wales) winning the singles gold medals. 2014 sees the Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
