The game received great fans, collectors & enthusiasts acclaims from Planet Vitual Boy website, positive aspects about the games are amazingly impressive 3D effects when chalvo bounces every time, the relatively simple but very crips & smoothly detailed graphics, the music which is considered as the best soundtrack on any virtual boy game, especially world 2 theme, the very simple & intuitive controls because it only needs the d-pad,and the content that the game offers as Random game, Pocket and cushion, & score attack. Negative aspect about the game is that every single mode gets very difficult as the game progresses. Many regard Bound High as the second generation VB game that definitively would saved the system, along with Dragon Hopper & Zero Racers.
