Baseball
In 2009, the Eagles' baseball team helped set an NCAA record for most innings in a baseball game, during the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship regional tournament at Austin, Texas. The University of Texas — which was designated the visiting team despite playing on its home field — won the game 3–2 in 25 innings. The game lasted seven hours three minutes.
