Born To Be Riled

Born to be Riled is a non-fiction book, first published in 1999, written by British journalist and television presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

In his fifth book "Born to be Riled", Clarkson laments the near-lunacy of drivers that he sees from his car and their lack of control of their vehicles. Among other things, he explains: why Surrey is worse than Wales; how crossing your legs in America can lead to arrest; the reason cable TV salesmen must be punched; and, that divorce can be blamed on the birth of Jesus. He ridicules "raving politicians", "pointless celebrities", "ridiculous 'personalities'" and the Germans, along with "the stupid, the daft and ludicrous" in his comic writing.

Famous quotes containing the word born:

If you’re born in America with a black skin, you’re born in prison, and the masses of black people in America today are beginning to regard our plight or predicament in this society as one of a prison inmate.
    Malcolm X (1925–1965)
