Born Entertainer

"Born Entertainer" is the first single from Veruca Salt's 2000 album, Resolver. It is presumed to be about the departure of Nina Gordon (hinted in the line "She didn't get it so fuck her"). It was released at the start of 2003 in Australia to promote the Australian release of the album Resolver.

"Born Entertainer" reached number one on the Triple J top 100. The CD-single features the album versions of "Yeah Man" and "Imperfectly". "Yeah Man" was later released to Triple J Top 100 and peaked at number five.

Famous quotes containing the words born and/or entertainer:

For your born writer, nothing is so healing as the realization that he has come upon the right word.
    Catherine Drinker Bowen (1897–1973)

I wish not to be given a title or an appointed position. I can and will do more good if I were made a Federal Agent at Large, and I will help best by doing it my way through my communications with people of all ages. First and Foremost I am an entertainer but all I need is the Federal Credentials.
    Elvis Presley (1935–1977)
