Bookaboo Mission
After conducting considerable research into the benefits of sharing books at home and the cause of the current decline, Lucy Goodman created the following mission and then crafted a show around it.

- Use television to promote book sharing at home by grown ups of all ages (grandparents, parents, family friends, siblings etc).
- Reverse old fashioned perceptions of only women reading and inspire fathers to share books with their children.
- Reverse non-reading patterns of behaviour in ‘hard to reach’ families (namely C2DE social demographic).
- Remove preconceptions around books being only for bedtime. Books are for anytime!
- Give all grown-ups the confidence to discover how emotionally rewarding sharing a book with young children can be.
