Bonnyrigg - Transport

Transport

Bonnyrigg lies on the B704 (High Street)/(Dundas Street) and the A6094 (Polton Street)/(Lothian Street) which cross at Bonnyrigg Toll. The most frequent bus service is the Lothian Buses 31 service which goes to East Craigs via Princes Street in Edinburgh. The bus leaves every 10 minutes from Bonnyrigg Hopefield and Bonnyrigg Toll at peak times. There is also the service 40 also operated by Lothian Buses.

The planned reopening of the Waverley Railway Line will link Bonnyrigg to the national rail network via a nearby station at Eskbank.

Famous quotes containing the word transport:

One may disavow and disclaim vices that surprise us, and whereto our passions transport us; but those which by long habits are rooted in a strong and ... powerful will are not subject to contradiction. Repentance is but a denying of our will, and an opposition of our fantasies.
    Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)
