Bob Koshinski - WKBW-TV

WKBW-TV

Koshinski may also be remembered for his time at WKBW-TV prior to joining Empire Sports. Koshinski was hired by WKBW-TV in 1983 as a sports producer, became a reporter/anchor and then was named Sports Director in 1989 after Hall of Fame broadcaster Rick Azar retired.

Koshinski broke several significant Buffalo sport stories during his time at WKBW-TV such as the Buffalo Bills signing of Jim Kelly and Bills' owner Ralph Wilson's demand for a new stadium. Koshinski's on-air style also featured an irreverent sense of humor and as a result he continues to serve as Master of Ceremonies at events throughout the area.

Koshinski left WKBW in 1991 to join the Empire Sports Network as an on-air Anchor, Program Director and Executive Producer.
