Riley was discovered by porn director Chi Chi LaRue and Randy Blue of internet porn company Randyblue.com on Myspace. At the time, Riley was homeless in Dallas, Texas. Both companies reached an agreement and Riley made gay porn history with the first dual exclusive contracts from Chi Chi LaRue's Rascal Video for Channel 1 Releasing and Randy Blue (Jesse Santana has since duplicated the feat with Jet Set Men and Cockyboys.com). Riley is the recipient of the 2008 GayVN Awards for "Best Newcomer of the Year 2008". He has had a number of famous porn star boyfriends such as Sebastian Rivers, Josh Vaughn, and Christian Owen.
In the 2008 bisexual film Shifting Gears, Riley had sex with a woman, Shy Love, for the first time. In the movie Riley also had sex with another woman, Brittany Amber. Riley was quoted as saying he liked the experience, and he further stated that he was totally comfortable during his heterosexual pairings and had no problems maintaining an erection. Since Riley had previously identified as gay, this caused him to receive criticism. Riley further stated, in a live performance on Randy Blue in October 2008, that he was open to doing another bisexual film, and he fantasied on being penetrated by a woman wearing a strap-on.
In January 2009, Riley re-signed with Channel 1 Releasing as an exclusive model. Riley had been under contract since 2006. In July 2009 Riley officially retired from the adult entertainment industry. He currently resides in Springdale, Arkansas where he is attending Northwest Arkansas Community College.
