It serves 4 companies, 3 are owned by Thomas; Fallen Footwear, Mystery Skateboards, and Zero Skateboards. Slave Skateboards (styled as $lave Skateboards) is owned by Ben Horton. Black Box also owns Cinco Maderas, a Mexico based woodshop that manufactures the decks for Mystery, Slave and Zero. In 2006 Jamie Thomas won an Ernst & Young regional Entrepreneur of the Year Award as president of Black Box. In early 2010 Jamie Thomas began distributing Insight clothing through Black Box.
