Boobies and Gannets
Order: Pelecaniformes. Family: Sulidae
The sulids comprise the gannets and boobies. Both groups comprise medium-to-large coastal sea-birds that plunge-dive for fish. There are 3 species which have been recorded in Venezuela.

- Red-footed Booby Sula sula
- Brown Booby Sula leucogaster
