Bionic Bunny - Bionic and Dark Bunny Villains

Bionic and Dark Bunny Villains

Bionic Bunny and Dark Bunny face off against a number of villains, many of which are parodies of known comic-book supervillains.

  • Bank robbers (as seen in the book, The Bionic Bunny Show) - possibly a reference to the normal villains Superman fought during WWII-era Superman cartoons.
  • Doctopus - Described as an octopus who went to college and became a doctor. A reference to Spider-Man arch nemesis Doctor Octopus in name at least, but Doctopus actually has the body of an octopus.
  • Icy MacFreeze - (from a PBS Kids newsletter) A Scottish inventor who faced Bionic Bunny with a freeze ray in the movie The Day the Earth Stood Chilled. A reference to Batman villain Mr. Freeze.
  • Professor Origami - A professor who uses origami as his weapons.
  • Hothead - A little girl that tricks Bionic Bunny in "April 9th". She is Bionic Bunny's old arch-villain with fire-based powers.
  • Kodo - An alien from the Crab Nebula. ("Bitzi's Beau")
  • Dr. Legume & Anna Phylaxis - A living peanut and his hooded assistant. They try to torture Binky Barnes with his peanut allergy in "Binky Goes Nuts".
  • Dr. Foul - A chicken-themed villain that overcomplicates his evil schemes, but explains them out loud anyways. ("Bugged")
  • Verminator - A villain similar in design to that of Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, except that he only scrapes his claws on a chalkboard.
  • Elias Howe - the inventor of the modern sewing machine uses a giant bobbin to hypnotize all the cats in the city.
  • Professor Origami - an evil doctor that tries to prevent Dark Bunny and Bionic Bunny from meeting by creating a giant origami monster from a giant piece of paper.
  • Bananomanoman - a living banana that fought Dark Bunny by throwing a banana peel at him. ("D.W. Unties the Knot")
  • Escargoda - a snail-themed villain that defeated Dark Bunny when his energy drink turned out to be just sugar water and food coloring. Arthur's own superheroes, Supernova, Star Child, and Sirius the Superdog, came to Dark Bunny's rescue.

Famous quotes containing the words dark and/or villains:

He saw the dark wainscot and timbered roof,
    The long tables, and the faces merry and keen;
The College Eight and their trainer dining aloof,
The Dons on the dais serene.
    Sir Henry Newbolt (1862–1938)

I don’t believe in villains or heroes, only in right or wrong ways that individuals are taken, not by choice, but by necessity or by certain still uncomprehended influences in themselves, their circumstances and their antecedents.
    Tennessee Williams (1914–1983)
