Thematic prefixes come after person markers and before dative markers and instrumentals.

directional indicator: 'there, on'
dǫhi 'look'
adǫxtu ta 'look!' (male to males)
yihi 'think'
ayihi 'he thought'
transivitizer
'arrive'
ahįtu 'they took her there'
kuhi 'high'
akuhitu 'they raised it'
į- instrumental prefix, 'with'
||ayą + į + duko|| > /ayįduko/ 'tree + with + whip' = 'whip against a tree'
||į + das + k + ǫ|| > /įdaskǫ/ 'with + back + obj. + do' = 'sit with one's back to'
u- 'within a given area'
toho 'lie town'
utoho 'he lay in it'
kci 'dodge about'
unakcikci de 'he went dodging about (the house)'
