Bill Zito (born September 16, 1964 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an ice hockey sports agent. Owner and founder of Acme World Sports, LLC., Zito represents over 60 professional hockey players including National Hockey League stars John Madden, Brian Rafalski, Sami Salo, and Tim Thomas.

As a graduate of Yale University, Bill brings a diverse mix of hockey, business, and law to Acme. Bill's career in professional sports began at the age of 16 when he served as a batboy for the Milwaukee Brewers and participated in the 1982 World Series. After finishing his hockey career at Yale, Bill played in Europe for two seasons. He then returned home to attend law school at the University of Wisconsin where he also served as an Assistant Varsity Hockey Coach and the color commentator for the Badgers' state-wide radio broadcasts.

Prior to entering law school, Bill scored a 47 out of a possible 48 on the LSAT law school entrance examination, placing him in the 99th percentile. He placed third in the national regional competition and successfully argued before the Supreme Court of the State of Wisconsin. As a practicing attorney, Bill clerked at major law firms in New York and Chicago where, among his other work, he was responsible for drafting briefs submitted to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Bill has prepared himself to become a sports attorney specializing in hockey. His experience as a player, coach, administrator, media representative, and now agent and attorney, combined with his legal background and familiarity with the NHL, minor Leagues, and Europe, sets him apart from others. He has negotiated million-dollar NHL contracts, coached at the top NCAA level, and worked in the front office of a professional hockey club. Substantively, in law school Bill studied labor law, collective bargaining, arbitration, and negotiation.

In short, Bill understands the game and business from a variety of perspectives. There are many people who have played hockey, just as there are many lawyers, but there are few individuals who have been exposed to so many different aspects of professional hockey. Bill understands the hockey issues, business issues, and legal issues, and most importantly he can see these issues from a wide range of viewpoints and utilize that perspective to the benefit of his clients.
