  • This portal has taken initiative in organizing "Global Meet for a Resurgent Bihar". Its global network and popularity helped a lot in mobilizing people living even in other parts of the globe. President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam inaugurated this meet.
  • It established the worldwide "Friends of Bihar" network, with more than 3000 registered members spread over 60 countries. Largest network is in USA.
  • A special section for development news, "Development Alert," sponsored by UNICEF.
  • Conducted electronic seminar, "Poverty in Bihar." Participants included Gerry Rodgers (Director ILO, Geneva), A.U. Sharma and P.K. Jha.
  • A large database has been created during different elections held in Bihar. Some newspapers like Hindustan and Hindustan Times used these databases for their print edition on a regular basis.
