Big Brother 2 (U.S.) - House

House

The house used for Big Brother 2 was similar to that of the previous season's, but did feature differences. Much like the original house, the new house was a one story building which featured numerous two way mirrors around the walls. Behind these mirrors are numerous camera men, who film the HouseGuests non-stop while they are participating in the game. Aside from these, various cameras and microphones are planted in the house, to catch what is happening at all times. The house for the second season featured a living room similar to the original season. The bathroom also remained largely unchanged, though the inclusion of a bath tub was added into the bathroom. The kitchen is also very standard and simple, much like the original. There are a total of four bedrooms in this house. Three of the bedrooms are for the HouseGuests to sleep in. The fourth, however, is the Head of Household bedroom. The HoH for the week has this rooms, which features perks such as privacy, laundry service, and pictures from home. The chicken coop has been removed from the house, and was not featured in any seasons other than the original. A basketball court was also featured outside of the house, along with a swimming pool. The HouseGuests later unlocked the hot tub, and were able to use it during their time in the house.

Famous quotes containing the word house:

It could be clearly proved that by a practical nullification [by the South] of the Fifteenth Amendment the Republicans have for several years been deprived of a majority in both the House and Senate. The failure of the South to faithfully observe the Fifteenth Amendment is the cause of the failure of all efforts towards complete pacification. It is on this hook that the bloody shirt now hangs.
    Rutherford Birchard Hayes (1822–1893)

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
Bible: Hebrew Psalm LV (l. LV, 12–14)

When we of the so-called better classes are scared as men were never scared in history at material ugliness and hardship; when we put off marriage until our house can be artistic, and quake at the thought of having a child without a bank-account and doomed to manual labor, it is time for thinking men to protest against so unmanly and irreligious a state of opinion.
    William James (1842–1910)
