Bibhas Chakraborty (Bengali: বিভাস চক্রবর্তী; born 1937) is a leading Bengali theatre personality. He is an actor, playwright, theatre director, and theatre organiser. He received Sangeet Natak Akademi award in 1989. An influential theatre practitioner for the past 5 decades, Bibhas Chakraborty made equally significant contributions to dramaturgy, theatrical production, and teaching.
