Bianca Castafiore

Bianca Castafiore, the "Milanese Nightingale", is a fictional character in The Adventures of Tintin, the series of comic albums written and illustrated by Belgian artist Hergé. She is an opera singer whom Haddock absolutely despises, as she seems to constantly be popping up wherever he goes. She is comically foolish, whimsical, absent-minded, and talkative, and seems unaware that her voice is shrill and appallingly loud.

Her forename means "white" (feminine) in Italian, and her surname is Italian for "chaste flower".
