Present Status
A small, educated and progressive community, Bhargavas excel in their fields of activity, where ever they are. At present times, high percentage of them are involved in professions like: Engineering, Medical Practitioners, Business Executives and Private Business, in various metro cities in India and different parts of world, .
Bhargavas have their community associations in various Indian cities known as 'Bhargava Sabhas'. There are about 37 'Sabhas' (associations) in Indian cities. These 'Sabhas' have an umbrella organisation called 'All India Bhargava Sabha', established in 1890 to which all the Sabhas are affiliated. All India Bhargava Sabha, plays the role of uniting the community scattered world wide. It also helps younger generation to know the ancient traditions and Sanskriti of the community. An annual conference of various sabhas is held at different cities in India. In Nov. 2012, it was held in Jodhpur, while in Dec. 2011 in Bikaner, and Dec. 2010 in Benaras.
'All India Bhargava Sabha' has resolved to hold 'International Conferences' in various countries to bring the international Bhargava community in the social and cultural main stream of the community. With this objective, the first 'Bhargava Global Conference' was held in Canada, the second one in USA & the third one was held in Dubai in May 2012 .
