Affiliation
The Institution offers B.Tech, MCA & MBA courses. These are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Orissa and affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. Degree courses where affiliated under Utkal University when BIET started giving degree courses way back in 1997. Then it got under Fakir Mohan University from the year 2000 when Government of Orissa decided to divide all colleges in Orissa into different regions coming under different universities. By 2003-04 it got under one common umbrella of BPUT, the technical university of Orissa at present.
