Achievements
A techfest SRISTI 2011 was organised at JALPAIGURI GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, JALPAIGURI, WEST BENGAL from 9–12 September in which two teams of BIET had participated along with other colleges of Bengal.BIET team had succeeded in bagging two top positions in the said event, details of which are given below:
Robotics - 1st cash prize of 7000/- (Locomotion)
Robotics (Locomotion) - 2nd cash prize of 5000/-
Students also collaborated with students of Techno India, Saltlake, West Bengal to participate in Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Sonarpur, Kolkata's tech-fest in 2010 – PHOENIX-2010.
