Famous quotes containing the word views:

The universe is wider than our views of it.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Taught from their infancy that beauty is woman’s sceptre, the mind shapes itself to the body, and, roaming round its gilt cage, only seeks to adorn its prison. Mary Wollstonecraft (1759–1797)

Your views are now my own.
Marvin Cohen, U.S. author and humorist.

In conversation, after having taken a strong position in an argument and heard a complete refutation of his position.
