Bethany House Publishers is an publisher that publishes mostly Christian fiction and Non-Fiction. Bethany House Publishers was bought out in 2003 by Baker Publishing Group.
There are two types of fiction published by Bethany House Publishers, Historical and Contemporary. Historical Fiction is considered any book which is set prior to 1950. Contemporary Fiction is defined as any book which is set in is the last fifty years. Fiction can be stand alone books or series. Bethany House has three groups of non-fiction: Bethany Backyard, Devotional/Personal Growth, and Contemporary Issues. Bethany Backyard is devotional or homeschool books for children. Devotional/Personal Growth comprises books for your quiet time. Contemporary Issues are books that give information and answer questions about contemporary issues.
