Beta Chi Theta - North-American Interfraternity Conference

North-American Interfraternity Conference

  • On April 23, 2006, Beta Chi Theta became the first nationally recognized South Asian fraternity through its acceptance of membership into the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). Additionally, at seven years of age, it is also the youngest fraternity ever to become a member of the NIC (in NIC's 100 year history).
  • All chapters and colonies of the fraternity are either members of their host institution's Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) or are currently pursuing membership.

Famous quotes containing the word conference:

Politics is still the man’s game. The women are allowed to do the chores, the dirty work, and now and then—but only occasionally—one is present at some secret conference or other. But it’s not the rule. They can go out and get the vote, if they can and will; they can collect money, they can be grateful for being permitted to work. But that is all.
    Mary Roberts Rinehart (1876–1958)
