The 1994 Best of the Super Juniors, the first tournament to be held under that name, was an 11-man tournament contested from May 26 to June 13. Jushin Liger once again won while also the reigning Junior Heavyweight champion, and also became the first wrestler to win the tournament twice. Guest natives included Super Delfin and TAKA Michinoku from Michinoku Pro Wrestling and Masayoshi Motegi from Wrestle Dream Factory.
