Mostly people of Beerwah have their own means of conveyance but public transportation includes buses and cars mainly.
By Air: Srinagar Airport (SXR) is the closest to Beerwah, located just 30 kilometres away. At Srinagar one can get connecting flights to the rest of the country frequently as Srinagar is a tourism centred city. Pre-paid taxis are available at the airport apart from shared taxis and buses. One would have to fly into Srinagar and switch to a J&K State-run bus or taxi to drive up to Beerwah.
By Rail: The nearest railway station to Beerwah is Mazhama Railway Station Narbal at 11 km. It traverses Ompura, Budgam and connects to Srinagar. Srinagar railhead (Code SINA) is at 30 kilometres from Beerwah. Via Srinagar, Beerwah connects to the rest of the country through frequent trains from Srinagar.
By Road: National Highway 1A connects Beerwah to Srinagar and private buses and taxis ply on this route frequently, so getting around Beerwah in any direction is not difficult.
By Bus: State Road Transportation of J&K (J&K SRTC) has connected most major towns and cities to Beerwah through Srinagar on National Highway 1A. At Srinagar, State govt. and privates buses are available to take you to Beerwah and back.
By Sumo/taxis: The private organisations run the transport companies having hundreds of taxis available in number,which wil be available for 24 hours for any route.
