- François Cabarrus (1752–1810), French adventurer and Spanish financier. He was the father of Thérésa Cabarrus, later known as Madame Tallien (1773–1835), a French social figure during the French Revolution who later became the Princess of Chimay.
- Armand Joseph Dubernad (1741–1799), financial trader, consul general of the Holy Roman Empire, deputy, mayor and cofounder of the first Jacobin Club of Brittany.
